I am Fr Charles Balnaves, Parish Priest of the Catholic Parish of St Gregory the Great, Doncaster.

With a fifty-eight-year history of growing and caring and flourishing our parish strives to build on the work Christ has done bringing the Kingdom of Heaven near, here on earth. Our culturally diverse community seeks to welcome everyone who is seeking to respond to the call of Jesus Christ: the call to worship, the call to care for those in need, the call to spread the good news.

Please come and join us and get to know us and become part of our vibrant and vital community. There are many ministries that you could join, and we are seeing to grow the depth of fellowship and faith formation for all.

I have promised to keep you aware of planning for our future as partnered parishes. Discussions are happening – no decisions have been made. We are seeking to consult broadly via this survey, or your thoughts via email to your parish office, or discussion with myself or any of the PPC members and we plan to have all three parishes gather to discuss further on June 11th at 6 pm at the Clifton Centre (St Clements Bulleen)….

We would like to acknowledge and pray for the Wurundjeri people, the traditional custodians of this land on which we are gathered. We pay our respects to their elders both past and present and extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As people of many backgrounds, we come together in peace and harmony by respecting the dignity of each person.
